It is More Safer than Other Computer Traffic Models.

In this blog entry I’m gonna talk about traffic “black spots”, they have found a program that can identify traffic “black spots”, intersections which experience a high incidence of traffic accidents has been developed.

This was found by Ph. D. student Gennady Waizman of Tel Aviv University’s Geosimulation Lab at the Department of Geography and the Human Environment and Porter School of Environmental Science.

To designing safer roads, they lack effective tools to determine what turns a junction into a danger zone for cars and pedestrians alike. It is more safer than other computer traffic models. With this program, we can model a real intersection in the simulator and can do modifications to the environment or traffic regulations to see how they impact the safety of the junction.

SAFEPED also can rewind a virtual accident and determine if a change in regulation or architecture could have averted the crash.

This is a computer simulation that integrates robotics and statistics on driver and pedestrian behavior to determine the environmental features, which lead to these black spots. It allows traffic planners and engineers to analyze and fix dangerous intersections and also permits these engineers to test and rearrange the architecture of a planned junction and design it for optimal safety.

It is an autonomous “agent” which considers each car and pedestrian, it is a significant improvement on other computer models of traffic and it predicts the actions of others and reacts accordingly.

Yes, this is really an awesome thing many of us, when we start our vehicle it is not sure for our life. I think this will work out for all of us.
