Laser Lighting Is Safer For Our Eyes!!!!!

BMW has come out with its new technology where laser headlights to replace the traditional light emitting diode (LED) bulbs. This technology has to be debuted on the hybrid BMW i8 concept which is more efficient than the standard light emitting diodes where currently it is used by many vehicles.

BMW’s laser beam headlights can be up to 1,000 times brighter than a traditional LED where it helps in saving the energy. This laser lighting generates 170 lumens while standard LED lighting generates around 100 lumens per watt.
This really works better because the light used is more safe for the eyes. It is called as “a pure white light which is very bright and pleasant to the eye where the bluish laser light is converted by a phosphor material inside the headlight.

Engineers involved in, have no plans to radically reduce the size of the headlights because this new technology is going to play an important role in the styling of future BMW models and they are trying to yield new alternatives for headlight positioning and body design.

This BMW laser lights manage to avoid burning holes in people’s eyeballs. That’s great!! When we drive LED headlight cars or any car featuring this LED headlights passes us while driving it distracts with its burning holes. This leads to accidents or lives us in rough/spoiled roads (For E.g. Indian roads).

This new lighting technology, laser equipped BMW cars are going to appear within a couple of years. I think Dr. Evil is going to be the first person to buy this laser BMW car. And one thing it doesn’t only help in saving energy and it also saves on gas which makes way for entirely new light functions that are safer.

Laser lighting is monochromic which means it has same length of all the light waves. A laser headlight consumes half of its energy when compared to LED headlights. This is really a human-concerned car because its key consideration is of our safety.
