We have seen many hand puppet and this hand puppet should be assigned by our hands to make fun in front of others to laugh but Cheeky Monkey has been reborn as the robotic toy by Nick Donaldson. Dave the Funky Monkey toy, is an adorable electronic monkey plush toy designed to sit on our shoulder and interact with our friends and passers-by.
This chap sits on our shoulder and performs many different actions all via a (wireless) remote control. This Funky Monkey is named as Dave, is a cheeky robot monkey toy that does look very realistic. Dave has the look of a small squirrel monkey with a black body, white face, hands and feet. Nick used only two motors to bring him to life, he is inexpensive and accessible to all.
The Dave the Cheeky Monkey toy is relatively small so he can sit on top of our shoulder in comfort, it comes at about 8 inches in height and Dave is sure to be a fascinating toy for children of all ages. As our friends introduce themselves he’ll wave, if our friends embarrass or scare him he’ll hide his face looking shy or scared, he’ll even put his hand up ready for a high-five if the situation dictates.
Dave’s waving, nodding and head shaking is still a bit cranky. He looks completely autonomous and seems understand how to answer simple question. There is a simple remote control with 8 buttons that will adjust how Dave response to the question or the passer by, and main thing is before introducing Dave to others we need a little practice with him.
Built with two poppers and a Velcro strip on the back and we could simply attached it to a shoulder strap to let him sit safely and comfortably on our shoulder. When comes to value for money on Dave is really good. It costs at price of GBP 15.95 and is now available in UK.I think there seems to be a lot of new toys out for this coming Christmas and really it’s a Christmas gift to us. Anyways it sure Kids love Dave “Cheeky Monkey” very much.
