In this blog entry I’m gonna talk about the basic science which has got us all in to better shape. It is a health monitor that we can strap around our wrist, with its $199 heart. First when I saw this I thought it is nothing because we have seen many wrist watches with different features so adding on to it nothing can be the features. 

 

But now, this wrist can be seen different with its features, the company has revealed the design of its B1 Basis Band that will launch later this year. In this wrist the tracker has multiple sensors that measure our heart rate, calorie intake, sleep patterns and other metrics. It has a liquid crystal display and looks like a digital watch. This device can be connected to a web-based personal dashboard which lets us to view our heart rate, diet, sleep data, and more.

Keeping track on the data it makes recommendations for how we can improve our overall wellness, its latter part makes use of gamification, or game-like techniques. The updates can be shared with our friends and family over social networks and receives encouragement from them for our progress. I can say this will really helps the models, heart patients,… to keep track of their calorie’s and fat.

This wrist has developed for our nation’s health and wellness which is combined with rising healthcare costs, people are looking for smart, useful tools to help all of us to make better lifestyle choices. This data can be exported from our personal dashboard and it with a personal trainer or doctor. 

B1 Basis Band has a three-axis accelerometer that records movement and activity. It calculates metrics based on that data and shares it to the cloud. It has multiple-day battery life and it is light. The style and color of the strap can be changed and can wear it easily while running. 

For this basis, San Francisco has raised $9 million to date. It is available on the company’s website for pre-orders. So you also can pre-order it for your health concerns go for it.

   In this blog entry I’m gonna talk about Nokia’s new launch. Nokia has launched its dual SIM music phone, the Nokia X1-01 which is most affordable. This phone engages consumers with its integrated MP3 player, FM radio, a loudspeaker and it carries music collection on its 16 GB expandable memory. 

   In this model, SIM manager gives options to the users to select from which SIM card to make a call or send a text messages. By this, it helps us to manage our costs and maintain network coverage without needing several phones.

Hybrid Digital Slate Prototype Device!!!!!!!

   Every person earns and spends money for their wanting, some they use to record those expenses and incomes in a book or a paper. These records might be incorrect or incomplete or there will be difficulty of maintaining those records accurately. 

  To get ride of these, In India, they have found hybrid digital slate that allows both paper-based and digital record-keeping. It is a low-cost system which combines writing on paper and recording entries in digital format. 

   Nowadays, global micro-finance sector has grown substantially with mainstream banks realizing its benefits for social support and meeting profit margins.

   This solution was explored by Aishwarya Lakshmi Ratan with colleagues at Microsoft Research and with a partner non-governmental organization. This device is named as PRADAN, is a low-cost digital system that combines the convenience of writing on paper, it simultaneously records the handwritten entries and instantly storing them in a digital format.

   This hybrid digital slate comes with an A5- size digitizing pad and digital pen as well as a small touch screen. The ledger book is placed on the digitizing pad and entries are made with the pen in ink. The minute we start writing the movement of the pen is tracked in the background and all the entries have a corresponding digital copy created.

   The digital entries are then run through a digit recognition tool and the numbers are fed into a local database on the device. These figures are then processed and instant updates are generated. A financial record management application, based on the paper accounting system used by the self-help group, allows the accounts writer to verify all entries on the screen. Audio feedback in the local language is then played back so that the entries are validated by the members. Once the errors are corrected, the data is saved.

    These digital records can be shared easily with banks supporting the self-help group. The hybrid digital slate is very helpful because the paper records are sent to town and then someone transcribes them into digital records for processing. Printouts of updates are then sent back to be used at the next meeting. The logistics of getting the data transcribed were heavy, and the reconciliation of errors was difficult, since the people who entered the first set and those who were transcribing it were different.

   This device is attached by solar charging unit which has raised the cost of it. This will really help those people in India who stays in rural areas like farmers, building workers and who are dealt with small scale industries etc…….

It also can scan RFID tags, this mirror is currently a prototype.

All Time Spy @ House~

   Here, is great news regarding a new technology which keeps our house almost safe. Many of us, we go for work or some other work out from house because we can’t stay always in house and also can’t watch what’s happening in house when we are out. So I was in search of new technology which helps to keep a close eye on our house at all times.

   I was happy when heard about this new technology and I feel I’m in luck and I thought to share my information which might help us also one or the other way. This is a new security system that monitors our home and sends the live video to our iOS device. Securing our home is not easy but luckily we’ve got a new security system which was developed by Stem Innovation which is called as iZON. 

   iZON is network wireless camera that is controlled by remote app and what makes iZON  so special is that it sends audio and video to our iOS at all times, as long as you have internet connection. I can say it acts as a spy. It can also record video and upload it to a private YouTube account, so we can look at it anytime we like. It can be set to record automatically if there’s any noise or motion.

   It really helps to look after our pets and our children when we’re away at work. It makes us overall peace of mind.
