Audi India, Luxury car maker, on Tuesday have launched a new version of its sports utility vehicle Q5 which priced ex-showroom, Mumbai, which lower than the existing range. This new version is powered by a 2.0 litre engine which will be hitting the roads from October this year. It is perfectly equipped to further strengthen their leadership position in the luxury SUV segment.
Audi Q5, already has a broad fan base in India, this attractive price will now make this premium experience accessible to a wider customer base this statement was made by Audi India Head Michael Perschke. The existing versions of the Q5 is available between Rs 39.06 lakh and Rs 45.12 lakh in ex- showroom , Maharastra.

The company is offering a wide range of vehicles in India including Audi A4, New Audi A6, Audi A8, Audi A7 Sportback, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi RS5, the super sports cars Audi R8, Audi R8 Spyder.
Mr. Perschke mentioned that with the opportunity that India presents, that they are confident of achieving their retail sales target of 5,000 cars by the end of 2011.
And also he mentioned that their focus is on strengthening their portfolio through the introduction of products like the Audi Q5 2.0 TDI q which are extremely relevant for India and also the expansion of their dealer network.
The company had sold 3,003 units in 2010. It has already crossed the last year’s figure in the first seven months of 2011.
This is great, but it can't be afford by lower class and some of middle class people due to price of the product.
