Nowadays, teenagers use many gadgets like iPhones, Blackberries, iPads, Droids, iPods and so on and these devices are common with its battery, need to charge it when the battery is low. And we’ve to carry on our charger all time and search for the power to charge the devices. Now the new technology has been introduced by Quirky to charge our devices anywhere.
Quirky revealed the Ray Solar Charger and it is also said the best solar charger we’ve ever seen. This has a compact battery with enough juice to charge a cell phone and it has a built in suction cup to attach the flat surface like to the window of the car or airplane that has built in Kickstand which conveniently holds our device’s USB cable.
This Quirky Ray Solar Charger charges all our various portable gadgets on the go that can be quite the challenge. This solar powered charger looks to be pretty useful. This Ray Solar Charger isn’t the first solar charger on the market but it doesn’t mean the less it has the advantage of suction cup that can stick window and the suction cup is made up of the silicone.
But the only disadvantages is when sun is smiling in the sky we’ll smile, talk and enjoy but when sun doesn’t smile, the same thing to us. To charge our mobile devices, all we need is some sun. Power comes out through the USB port and the internal battery can store enough energy for a full phone charge.
The original idea for Ray came by way of Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania’s Brandon Craven. It was then tweaked by 988 “influencers” on Quirky. They’ve developed suction cup that can be used on any glass surface such as house windows, or windows in cars and planes. In-car use while driving is a dubious idea anyhow they’ve given the prevalence of lighter-based car chargers.
It has tilting kickstand that allows users to place the charger on flat surfaces and also serves as a place to store the USB cord. The Ray measures 2.5” x 2.5” x 3” and Quirky notes that it is subject to change during production. Quirky community had admitted that it is now available for pre-order and is priced at US $39.99. The production will not start until and unless 2,000 orders are placed.
