HP’s Latest Touchpad - Discontinued Web Operating System!!!!

In this blog entry I’m gonna talk about the Hp Touchpad which is still in Alpha and not for the Timid. HP Touchpad has got a little more functional and major things are present in this touchpad are Wi-Fi, camera, Bluetooth, dual-core support, Netflix, even charging via the Touchstone.

CyanogenMod 7.1.0’s unique flavor of Gingerbread has finally made its way to HP’s disowned slate but beware.  It has neat assortment of usable features including multi-boot support, ten-point multi-touch, functional Wi-Fi, camera support for video chat, limited GPU acceleration and a ton of other features that are either working now or are near completion.

It is expected that the app incompatibility and poorly optimized power consumption. Some functioning,

·         Android 2.3 Gingerbread
·         Dual core processing
·         LED
·         Bluetooth
·         Backlight
·         Camera (only video chat, no recording or snapshots)
·         Touchstone support
·         Softkeys
·         Wi-Fi
·         Accessing web OS files from Android and vice versa
·         Light Sensor
·         Fast Switch Boot
·         ClockworkMod Recovery
·         Multi-boot via moboot
·         Battery Reporting
·         Power Management
·         Accelerometer
·         Sound

If it is turn for terribly situation without knowledge so don’t worry HP’s tool called WebOS doctor. It completely wipes the Touchpad but at least it boots again. Its great because it WebOS doctor to treat when the touchpad is in bad situation.
